So today is my birthday and I got this awesome t-shirt by Rebecca Posselt that Ive wanted for quite a while. I love the cool leopard print and the oversized fit. I paired it with a pair of biker boots that I bought a few weeks ago and a leather jacket to give et a tough feel. Going to dinner tonight with my mom to celebrate my 23 summers :)

Vejret for tiden er endnu ikke for koldt til, at man kan have bare ankler og tæer, hvilket jeg forsøger at udnytte max. Jeg har nemlig en del jeans, der går til anklen, og dem kan jeg ikke bruge til støvler, så vejret bliver koldere. Nå men i dag har jeg udnyttet, at der er efterårsferie, så jeg har været nede i byen for at scoute lidt, og der var rigtig mange skolebørn, der nød deres ferie. Jeg fandt da også et par rigtig smukke piger. I aften skal min kæreste og jeg ud og spise i anledningen af Gastro Week her i Århus og måske jeg for en gang skyld skulle tage en kjole på ;)

The weather is still warm enough for a litlle ankel peak which for me is really sexy. Even though you're covered up you still have a little skin showing which makes an oufit more appealing. Today i went scouting in the city and came across some beautiful girls so i'm really happy. To night my boyfriend and I are going to dinner and I'm thinking about wearing a dress which don't happen very often ;)

Sig hej til min nye efterårsjakke - den er fra H&M og allerede en favorit i min samling af jakker. Den er i 80% uld, hvilket egentlig gør den til en vinterjakke, men jeg er ekstrem kuldskær, så derfor bruger jeg den allerede nu. Jeg køber normalt ikke tøj i H&M alene af den grund, at jeg synes kvaliteten er for dårlig, og derfor vil jeg hellere købe få men gode ting fra lidt dyrere brands. Jeg synes dog, at denne jakke var af god kvalitet, og jeg skyndte mig da også at proklamere mit nye køb til min H&M-glade veninde, som efterfølgende skrev; "Tillykke med dit første rigtige H&M-køb". Det synes jeg var ret sjovt ;)

Say hello to my new autumn jacket - it's from H&M and is already a favourite among my many jackets. It is made from 80% wool which strictly speaking makes it a winter jacket,but i'm extremely sensitive to cold so i'm gonna wear it now. I normaly don't buy clothes in H&M because of the poor quality so I prefer buying a few good things from more expensive brands. This jacket is though of quite good quality and I could'nt resist the cool oversized shape. As soon as I stepped out of the shop I wrote to my girldfriend who is a real H&M enthusiast and told her about my new buy. She then wrote back; "Congratulations on your first real H&M buy;)", which I though was pretty funny.

AUTUMN CUT

Jeg var ved frisøren i går for at blive klippet. Jeg har i et par år fået farvet mit hår lysere, men i foråret blev jeg træt af det og valgte at stoppe med farve og få det klippet kortere. Denne gang er det blevet ret kort, men jeg synes, det er dejlig praktisk og ret fint.

Jeg har funder min mors gamle blazer fra 80'erne frem, og den er så lækker som en overgangsjakke inden regnen sætter ind.

So I went to the hair dresser yesterday to get a haircut and this is the result. I think its quite nice and very practical. For a couple of years I dyed my hair lighter, but I grew tired of it so last spring I decided to stop and cut my hair a lot shorter (I used to have really long hair). This time its gotten quite short, but I like it.

I found my moms old blazer from the eighties and it so cool because of the oversized shape. I love it!

HIGHTSTREET VS. DESIGNER

Outfittet i dag er en god blanding af highstreet og designer items. Præcis som jeg godt kan lide det. eller det vil sige, at hvis jeg havde en utømmelig konto, så ville jeg da ikke sige nej til at være klædt fra top til tå i designer items. Meeeen den går jo ikke. Derfor kan man med fordel investere i nogle få klassiske og luksuriøse items, der giver outfittet lidt kant. Her bruger jeg fx ofte min City Bag eller Wang blazer, som netop lige løfter mit outfit. Og jeg er nødt til lige at tilføje, at jeg købte min City Bag second hand, hvilket også er en god måde at få en fed taske på, men hvor man ikke lyncher sin konto. Ps. det er vist sidste gang, jeg ifører mig bare ben, desværre :(.

Outfit du jour is a nice mixture of highstreet and designer items. Just as I like it. That is, if I had  never ending funds then I wouldn't say no to being dressed in all designer items. But that is sadly not the case. That is why we as normal, mortal people can invest in a few classic and luxurious items that bring a little something. Here I often use my City Bag and my Wang blazer which always do the trick. And may I ad, I bought my City Bag second hand which is also a great way to come across the more expensive stuff. Ps. This is the last time i'm going outside with bare legs, unfortunately :(

WISH LIST

Min fødselsdag er lige rundt om hjørnet og min kæreste har bedt mig om at lave en ønskelist. Som sædvanlig så består den mest af tøjønsker. Jeg vil gerne tro, at det skyldes, at jeg egentlig har alt, hvad jeg har brug for, og derfor kun kan ønske mig tøj. Jeg sidder hver dag og gennemsøger Zara og Cos' hjemmesider for ting, jeg godt kunne tænke mig, og jeg finder altid noget. Her er nogle af de ting, som jeg har i tankerne for tiden.

My birthday is in a month and my boyfriend recently asked me to make him a wish list. As usual is consist mostly of clothes. I'd like to think its because I have everything I need and want and therefor have to wish for clothes. Jeg er rigtig glad for nederdele for tiden, så da jeg fandt denne her sorte nederdel i strik forleden, så måtte jeg have den. Og det fortryder jeg ikke. Den er så rar at have på med en god længde og fint mønster, og så er den dejlig varm. Jeg vil bruge den med en chunky strik her til efterår (som jo egentlig allerede er her) og med mine nye læderstøvler, som jeg vil vise jer senere.

I'm really into skirts at the moment so when I came across this knit skirt the other day I had to get it. It has a nice length and is quite warm. I'm gonna wear it with a big chunky knit during the fall and my new leather boots. Those I will show you later.

ISABEL MARANT POUR H&M

Der er vist ingen tvivl om, at designsamarbejdet mellem franske Isabel Marant og H&M er længe ventet, og i dag er der så blevet lækket billeder af noget af det tøj, som kommer i butikken d. 14. november. Jeg synes, Marant er meget tro mod sin sædvanlige stil i disse foreløbige outfits - så må man bare håbe, at kvaliteten er bedre end H&M's almindelige tøj. Jeg har set mig lidt lun på den lækre uldjakke i nederste billede til venstre, men også den lækre cardigan på den smukke mørke model kunne være interessant. En ting er sikkert - jeg kommer til at stå i kø!!

There is no doubt about the anticipation concerning the new cooporation between Isabel Marant and H&M and today new picture were leaked of the clothes. It looks like, Marant is very true to her style in these outfits, but I really hope the quality will be better than the normal H&M clothes. I will definitely go for the grey coat and the long ethnic cardigan. One thing is for sure - I will be in front of the stores on November the 14.!!

Denmark has seen a new design talent in the danish girl, Rebecca Posselt. She makes beautiful prints that are really innovative compared to what you otherwise see on the fashion scene. Her t-shirts have been seen on several danish celebrities including the singer, Medina. This tee with a cool lionprint is definitely on my wish list!

Danmark har fået et nyt designtalent ved navn Rebecca Posselt, som er virkelig talentfuld. Hun laver nogle fede prints, der er meget nyskabende i forhold til, hvad man ellers ser på modescenen. Hendes T-shirts er blevet set på flere kendisser deriblandt Medina, så det er allerede gået hurtigt. Denne her tee med løveprint er jeg personligt helt vild med, og den er helt klart på min ønskeliste

POST-HOLIDAY BLUES

Sunday I returned from a week in Turkey looking slightly more tanned than before we left. I could easily have taken another week of sun, but preferably in another place with less techno music and more culture. Still I don't complain - 7 days in 30 degrees is always better than a week back here in windy and cold Denmark. This is what I wore today plus my Maje leather jacket which is actually necessary with this very agressive wind that we are currently experiencing. I'm looking for a pair of leather boots with lining and I've seen a pair from Billi Bi that I might go for.

Søndag landede vi i Danmark igen efter en uge i Tyrkiet. Jeg har fået en del farve, hvilket jeg normalt slet ikke får, så måske den tyrkiske sol er mere effektiv? Jeg kunne sagtens have taget en uge mere med dejlig sol, men jeg ville have foretrukket et andet sted med mindre tekno-musik og mere kultur. Jeg klager dog ikke siden svigerfamilien betalte hele gildet, og 30 grader i Tyrkiet er altid bedre end kolde og blæsende Danmark. Dette var, hvad jeg havde på i dag plus min læderjakke fra franske Maje, som jeg er afhængig af her i efterårstiden. Jeg leder samtidig efter nogle vinterstøvler i læder og med for, der kan varme i vinterens sne, og jeg har set et par fra Billi Bi Magasin, som jeg måske vil gå efter. Der er nemlig 20% på alle sko på fredag i Magasin!!!

WHAT I WEAR

This is what I wore to a lecture the other day.The weather has changed, it is starting to get a bit cold and some how I managed to get the flu which should explain my lack of colour in the face. So right now I'm really loving this cardigan for keeping me warm on these rather chilly days.

I just recieved an email from ASOS and unfortunately I won't get my package before next week so I will just have to use my old Victorias Secret bikini. Buhhh huuhh. Well luckily I'm going to Abu Dabi with my family during the Christmas Holidays where there will be pleanty of opportunities for using the Ganni bikini.

I just ordered this bikini from Ganni in the hopes of it arriving before the beginning of this weekend. I'm going to Turkey and wanted a high waisted bikini and I thought this one was really cute. It's white which worries me and my pale Danish body a bit, but maybe the Gods will have mercy on me and it will look fab! You can get it on ASOS. Ciao

Today's Inspo

 

I spend a lot of time scrolling through street style images online. There are a so many stylish people out there and this girl is definitely one of them. Caroline Brasch is a Danish model who really knows how to work with her body type. Yes, I know what you think; "models can wear anything", but when you have a very slim frame like Caroline some things work better than others. Denim is one of her go-to items and here she pairs it with a bouclé jacket from Heartmade by Julie Fagerholdt and a mini  City Balenciaga. The cap just makes the final touch to a very cool outfit!

MY NEXT BUY

 

So I'm looking for a new pair of black boots. Originally I wanted something a little more biker-ish from the Danish brand Billi Bi, but now I'm leaning a bit more towards these beauties. They are also from a Danish brand called Decadent and are really elegant so I might go for these when the weather changes for real even though they are a bit pricy  You can find them in Magasin, but also on Decadents online shop: Oslo Boots
